Practicing

Mom's trying to learn how to swaddle. She saw something in a video about how it keeps babies from fussing, but I never fuss anyway so I'm not sure what that all means. Anyway, she used this larger than life model to help her practice. Let's see, you fold the blanket in a triangle and put it behind baby's neck...

then fold down, up, down, up...

I think she's got it!

Uncle Danny was still a little fussy. I guess he's having trouble adjusting to the fact he is no longer the baby of the family. But he finally cheered up after I left him borrow my bassinet.

Natural Progression

So here I am in Mom's belly at around 5 1/2 months. She kept saying she couldn't believe how big I was getting, but as you can see this was only the beginning.

Here's Dad checking me out a few weeks later. See how proud he is of his big boy.

Now Mom's getting sassy showing off
her cute baby. Just wait until she sees
the real thing.

Mom and Dad took me down to
Orange County to hang out with
Mom's family. Everyone was very
excited to see how big I was growing
but I think my uncles were more excited about having a new piece of furniture. Poor Mom.

Introductions

Hello everyone and welcome to my first blog! This is a picture of me when I was just a kid, but I've grown quite a bit and I'm just six weeks from making my big debut. Check back often for updates and feel free to join the discussion in the comments section. Talk to you soon.
